Like the resistance bands in our Legacy series, chains become heavier at the height of a movement, increasing muscular stimulation along the way. If, for instance, you attach a 20-pound Savage chain to a bar and lift it halfway off the floor, you will have intensified the resistance of the exercise by 10 pounds.
Chains like our Savages are ideal for barbell exercises like deadlifts, squats, and bench press, but can also be draped over the horns of plate-loaded machines to safely increase the weight.
The Bolt Savage is coated in zinc to make it more resistant to rust and chipping over time. They are 5 feet long and come in three weights: 10 pounds (1/2" Diameter Links), 20 pounds (5/8" Diameter Links), and 30 pounds (3/4" Diameter Links).
