The Grizzly is designed with the needs of the injury-conscious athlete in mind. Its unique design captures all the muscle stimulation of a free-weight barbell squat while minimizing the dangers and risks associated with the movement thanks to a floating yoke that accommodates users of various heights and allows athletes to place their feet where needed without needing to balance the load. The resulting posture shifts the weight off of the hips and knees and onto the posterior chain while forcing the user to maintain proper form and alignment.
Besides preventing overload on the hip and knee joints, the floating yoke allows for precise muscle targeting. Load weight on the high horns only to engage and strengthen the hips and glutes, then move that weight to the lower horns to shift the load onto your quadriceps.
The shoulder pad distance is adjustable and can be changed by lifting the trigger lock and sliding the pads into the desired position. Additionally, two adjustable safety spotters at the bottom provide added security, adjustability, and control throughout the motion. Whether you’re a bodybuilder looking to target specific parts of your legs or an athlete recovering from an injury, the Grizzly is designed to meet your specific squat needs.
