In Arthurian Legend, there is a creature called the Beast Glatisant or Questering Beast with the “neck of a snake, the body of a leopard, the legs of a lion, and the feet of a deer.” If our Beast has a mythological equivalent, it’s that. Just look at all the different creatures that have come together to make this the space-saving multi-modal monstrosity that it is.

First and foremost, the Beast leads with its functional trainer, which features a 1:1 ratio. That means the pulley doesn't make the weight feel lighter. If you load 100 pounds, the lift will not feel like 50 pounds. When you're done using the functional trainer, place the J-hooks (that come with the platform) on any of the forward-facing ports, and you will have a half rack on which to perform such strength-training classics as the barbell squat and the barbell bench press. If you don’t have a spotter and still want to squat and bench on the Beast, you will find behind the functional trainer a fully functional Smith machine.

Besides these three main platforms, the Beast features a flip-up footplate for seated rows, a detachable seat for lat pulldowns, a landmine attachment, a multi-grip pullup bar, a leg-press attachment for the Smith machine, spotter arms, pins for exercise bands, storage for Olympic-sized weight plates, and so much more, all within a 7-by-5-foot space. The Beast truly is all-in-one.
