Bolt Fitness At The Arnold Sports Festival 2026

Maybe you've heard of him, maybe you haven't.

Maybe you know him as The Governator or perhaps as The Terminator (I’ll be back) or simply as the defining icon from the golden age of bodybuilding.

Whatever the connection, it is culturally understood that Arnold’s legacy is permanently cemented in the fitness hall of fame.

So much so that each year since 1989 there has been a worldwide migration of athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and gym brands to Columbus, Ohio to celebrate what this man represents. 

This expo features over 20,000 athletes competing in over 70 sporting events, including bodybuilding, strongman and powerlifting, coupled with hundreds and hundreds of renowned worldwide fitness brands and bodybuilding prize money tripling the president's salary. 

The Arnold Fitness Expo is the Super Bowl of fitness and Bolt Fitness Supply never misses the opportunity to participate, but you may be surprised to learn the reason why.

Each year in the beginning of March The Bolt Boys (whom I’ve written about extensively), load up the trucks with some of our best and brightest pieces fresh out of development to take to the Arnold and debut to the world.  

The Bolt Boys are true road warriors, clocking countless miles all around the country to tirelessly deliver and install our coveted fitness equipment.  Needless to say their trip from our Houston headquarters and showroom (the largest fitness equipment showroom in Texas) to Columbus, Ohio is a walk in the park for these consummate professionals.

And this year we have some new heavy hitters in our crew.  2025 was a big year for Bolt and one of our proudest achievements was the opportunity to partner with two IFBB pro bodybuilders, Hunter Labrada and Terrence Ruffin (step behind the scenes of this epic partnership).

Terrence Ruffin has won the Arnold Classic twice and has also finished second in the Mr. Olympia two years in a row, while Hunter Labrada the eldest son of Lee Labrada, has competed in five editions of Mr. Olympia.

These guys know their stuff and to have them in tow both training on and collaborating in the design process with Bolt is the stuff fitness dreams are made of.

At this point you probably want to know what's in the box (truck).  As in: which pieces out of our extraordinary lineup of visionary plated loaded equipment did we bring to Arnold this year?

It's always hard not to bring everything. As in it’s like choosing which of your 100 children is your favorite, but nevertheless we make choices.

At the top of the pack this year was: The General. The new General, think: t-bar row meets smith machine with a supercar matte black paint job. Ultimate glide, smooth controlled movement designed to waste no energy and forge the back of a champion. This unique piece got a lot of attention this year and the General was received with all the characteristic regalia of its namesake. If the General took the lead then it is worth mentioning that our Attila, Grizzly, Ape, Blade, Caesar and Hero were collectively second in command. These pieces are not new-new, and while they are staples in Bolt’s plate loaded fleet, they have been the recent recipients of some major upgrades that our team couldn't resist sharing with the world.

And at the risk of patting ourselves on the back I will briefly mention what truly characterizes Bolt Fitness Supply and makes us stand out amongst the pack.  Simply put, it's our commitment to continuous improvement. We do not stop.

We could have left the Hero, the Grizzly and the Attila as they currently were (because they were excellent) but no. We continued to push and improve these pieces, always aiming high and striving for perfection. For example this year we debuted The Grizzly Plate Loaded Squat with an adjustable baseplate (spoiler alert: people loved it).  Meanwhile we debuted The Hero, Ape, Blade and Caesar with our new dual weight stack system and customized resistance arch curve.  We could have just played the hits but we didn't.  And next year will be no different.  

The point is we don't settle because Arnold didn't and neither should you.

Why Bolt Visits The Arnold Fitness Expo

So you’re probably thinking our sole motive is to pull up to Arnold Fitness Expo each year to flex our best and dominate the rest.

And while that is true it’s only because it’s the inevitable byproduct of our real mission.

What is our real mission?

To collaborate with the global fitness community. To market test our new generation products in real time out in the open with nothing to fear and nothing to hide.

We go to Arnold to hear from you!

Whether you are an average joe (like me), an IFBB pro (like Terrence), or a busy mom, we come because we want to talk with you and know what you think.  

The exposure we get participating at Arnold and the leads to build out gyms are great, don’t get me wrong.  But it's the ability to get feedback from people and make improvements based on that feedback that is truly priceless. 

Bolt Fitness Supply is nothing without an audience and to have the opportunity to collaborate with our worldwide community of fitness enthusiasts is an opportunity we would never pass up.
