STORM SERIES WIDOW FREESTANDING SELECTORIZED LAT PULLDOWN LOW ROW (Free-standing kit)

The spider extends all eight of her legs; she is the epitome of strength and allure, and her mate cannot resist. Teach those who see your back and its upside-down triangle the meaning of fear and desire with the Widow, a 2-in-1 lat-pull-down/cable-row combo designed to target your biceps, deltoids, trapezius, and, most of all, your latissimus dorsi.

The cable system attaches seamlessly to our Nitro, Krypton, and Barbarian racks or any custom 3x3 upright with 1-inch holes, and the central mechanism allows you to change resistance by alternating between 250 pounds of selectorized weight plates.

Like its spider namesake, the widow is black and surprisingly strong for its size. Made with 11-gauge stainless steel, half-inch bolts, and high-density steel cables with rubber casing, the Widow is built to last. Additionally, you can purchase a variety of attachments from our online store such as straight bars, rope handles, and V-bars, allowing you to customize your workouts and target virtually any muscle group.

The Widow is perfect for commercial settings, home gyms, or wherever you’ve fixed your web. It boasts. . .

• A lat-pulldown station
• A cable-row station
• A 2:1 pulley ratio
• 2.5-inch-thick upholstery
• Laser-etched Bolt insignia
• Chip and rust-resistant powder-black paint

(Lat Pulldown and Chinning Bar NOT INCLUDED)

Excellent overall piece

I picked up this piece locally (used) and it is one of the smoothest selectorized pieces I've ever tried. Overall, it's relatively easy to build and the range of motion for pulldowns is more than enough even when I use the chain.

There are some small quality of life tweaks they could make to improve the design:
1) For the top pulley, the welded bar to prevent the cable from jumping the pulley could be moved back a bit so that you could do face pulls while standing
2) The low row pulleys could be moved up at least 4" inches to get better alignment when seated on the floor
3) The back support crossmember on the floor could have 4 way hole spacing for extra storage space. Right now it only has hole spacing on 2 sides
4) Cutting the seat pad shorter (from the back) and adding a pulley to the bottom of the seat to do work like bicep curls, upright rows, etc.
5) Drill a storage hole in the topmost weight plate for storing the selectorized pin when using only the 10lb plate. This is becoming more common from other companies.
6) Small stabilizing feet coming off the front upright could help reduce a bit of wobble. It's not really noticeable while in use but can tell when trying to push it from the side that it has some sway

Thanks for taking the time to write all this out! Your suggestions have been noted, and we've sent them off to our design team.
